The Railway Cottage

This cottage is well equipped and has a homely feel and is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing holiday for families and couples. Sleeping 6 comfortably with a double bedroom and a family room with bunk beds and two twin beds including a travel cot for under 3's. Drawers and wardrobes are available and there is also plug-in wall heaters in each bedroom. Duvets and pillows are supplied for each bed (excluding travel cot). A small selection of toys are available.

Please note: Bed linen is not provided.

Bathroom: The bathroom is small but well equipped with bath, shower and basin. Please note, we do not supply towels.

Living Room: A cosy wood burner is located in the lounge, perfect for romantic evenings and also has a wonderful library of books for all ages.

Kitchen: The kitchen is fully functional and includes a 4 ring gas stove, oven, grill, fridge, microwave, woodburner, welsh dresser,dining table with 6 chairs and a highchair. There is crockery, cooking utensils,pots and pans, laundry powder, cleaning products and tea towels. We also provide tea, coffee and sugar along with a few cooking essentials for your enjoyment and we include a bottle of wine, fresh milk and bread for your arrival.

N.B. English sockets: no need to bring adapters!

2 x Bedrooms
1 x family room with 2 single beds and 1 bunk bed + child's folding cot bed, hanging rail + two chests of drawers.
1 x double room with 1 x double bed only, wardrobe + chest of drawers All quilts and pillows are provided.

Outside: there is a large garden with a stone well, wood sheds and storage caravan. There is a brick built BBQ, picnic table and chairs set with sun loungers and parasol, outdoor toys and a garden swing.

Bicycles are supplied for use at guests own risk (4 bikes, 1 x adult male, 1x adult female, 1 x teen (12+), 1 x child (8yrs+).

Pets are welcome at owners risk.

Toys for children are provided along with board games, cards and a full bookcase to suit all ages. We also provide cleaning products for kitchen/bathroom and there is a first aid kit. This is a very 'homely' cottage. Outside there is a picnic table and chairs set with sun loungers and parasol, a caravan with outdoor toys, a garden swing. The kitchen has tea/coffee/sugar provided with a few cooking essentials for guests including a lovely bottle of local wine, fresh milk and bread for their arrival!
