A pretty, two-bedroomed stone railwayman's cottage with lots of French character.

La Poste is set in its own pretty gardens situated within the small hamlet of 'La Rochette' in easy reach of the town of St. Yrieix La Perche, Haute-Vienne, Limousin, France. Sleeps 6 (+travel cot)

The cottage is located within the beautiful Limousin area right in the heart of the 'Richard the Lionheart' countryside which is steeped in history.

It is close to the Dordogne border and in easy reach of forest walks, medieval villages and all the french shopping delights of the area.

A beautiful lake is within 5 mins drive where you will find pedalos, walks, crazy golf, swimming & fishing available along with its own restaurant. Horse-riding and golf are close by and the famous Limousin Pottery Factory shops & museums are in abundance.

Apples, madelenes and limousin beef are some of the local delicacies and can be found in the market on certain Fridays. City shopping in Limoges is only a 30 minutes by car and the town, St Yrieix La Perche is a mere 5 minutes drive for all local amenities.
